This is just a quick message to let you all know that our channel #cs.gather.de is back and ready to be on the top of the channel list. Over the next few weeks we will constantly recruit new admins so if you feel like you have the potential and have the experience to be one please join our recruit channel #cs.gather.de.recruit. The team is recruiting again for more members to join the team, who have both time and commitment. We only want people who have some past experience with the Gather-Network and also users who are reliable and will be continually active to help us in our mission to rid the Gather-Network of cheaters. We need your help to do this and this is the reason for the recuirment - you can find how to apply for this role below.

You must include the details located at the bottom of this news post. We will not read any applications that do not have this in the title, as it shows you have paid very little attention to detail. Tip:Include as much detail and information as you can. Most applications are rejected on the basis of a lack of information.
What does the role involve?
You will be required to review demos sent in by our community and make a decision based on your own judgement whether or not you think the particular user cheats. You would also request unbans for users who have uploaded their demos and also ban users who have outstanding no-demo reports. On top of this you are required to idle in our help channel and assist users with all of their needs. This doesn't mean join and just look at actool screenshots because i want demo viewers also.
You will be required to put in at least 7 hours of work per week and all applciants must of played in excess of 150 gathers before you will be considered for the role.

Kenyon "KenaN" Temmel will not be able to join ALTERNATE at IEM 5 European Championship Finals in Kiev due to some important tests.

The new ALTERNATE line-up for IEM 5 was announced a week ago and it featured three new players. Due to the fact that Temmel can’t make it to the first major event of 2011, the team will be forced to play with a stand-in.
When questioned by SK-Gaming about who would replace him at IEM 5, Temmel said that either Jan “mooN” Stolle or Roman “Roman R.” Reinhardt will be filling in for him.

How can you become a #cs.gather.ro admin? Very simple: post a request on our forum, and if you meet all the requirements you're accepted. Even if you're not a long time member or don't have alot of GN experience, you can still apply if you know the rules and botcommands perfectly.
Furthermore I'd like to announce that we will organise an aim cup next month, with prizes according to the number of attendees (an active Premium account will be necessary upon registration). You can leave any suggestion in this newspost, the cup will be played in a single-elimination system with a minimum of 32 participants. Map will be aim_map.
