Dear members,
As you probably know by now, the deployment of the Easy AntiCheat on GN platform has started yesterday. The service is still considered as BETA, probably until the end of the month, in order to spot the remaining bugs (if any) and offer a great experience during the GN Christmas Cup.
You should download the EAC client NOW and keep it running for all your gathers played on GN.
Note that you may experience problems on game servers on which VAC has not been disabled yet (VAC is not compatible with EAC).
All channel leaders are invited to check their game servers for that setting.
To conclude this news, I am satisfied with the current EAC performances and decided to disable the "old" GN AC Tool for now. It means that you do NOT have to run it anymore (in exception of the premium servers which should be updated any soon).

Note for channel leaders:
VAC can be disabled by adding the -insecure parameter to the server startup command line.
If you don't have access to this parameter, it may be possible to disabled VAC by editing the file liblist.gam (ie with notepad++) and change the "secure" parameter from "1" to "0". Related links:
